POINT OF USE WATER FILTERS:
These filters are either, free standing (counter top) or fitted in a cupboard under your kitchen sink (under counter) and are configured with either single or double filters cartridges. They are both very easy to install, although the under counter filter does require some plumbing and drilling a hole in your counter for the tap. They come with all the necessary fittings, accessories and replaceable cartridges for DIY installation.
Note that in the filters below the Granultaed Activated Carbon (GAC) can be upgraded to a KDF55/GAC combination cartridge for an extra R198. KDF removes heavy metals, such as Aluminiun that municipalities use as a flocculent, and extends the life of the GAC so this cartridge would only only need to be replaced once a year.
Single Counter Top Filter:
Granulated Activated Carbon filter cartridge which will absorb the chlorine, bad taste, odours and colour from the water.
Cost : R549.00
Replacement Cartridge: R91 (needs replacing every 6 months.)
Double Counter Top Filter:
- 5 micron Polypropylene Filter Cartridge which will filter out solid particles like rust, sand and dirt in the water.
- Granulated Activated Carbon filter cartridge which will absorb the chlorine, bad taste, odours and colour from the water.
Cost : R966.72
Replacement Cartridge: Carbon R91 Polypropylene R30 (Both need replacing every 6 months.)
Single Under Counter Filter:
Granulated Activated Carbon filter cartridge which will absorb the chlorine, bad taste, odours and colour from the water.
Cost : R786.20
Replacement Cartridge: Carbon R91 (needs replacing every 6 months.)
Double Under Counter Filter:

Carbon Block Filter suggested for use on Washing Machine:
This carbon block filter will filter out the colour, solid dirt particles and chlorine out of the water so is ideal to filter the water going into your washing machine. It can be mounted on the wall behind your washing machine.

Replacement Cartridge: Carbon Block R95 (needs replacing every 6 months.)
